Upholstery

 

During the restoration of an upholstered chair, all original fabrics are carefully removed by hand in order to preserve them for use on the chair once it has been put back together.  Where a piece requires a complete re-upholstery, this is carried out using traditional methods and materials.

 

 

Cane work

 

Cane-backed chairs and other items incorporating cane work are restored using traditional techniques.
